The ABR ear impression material is soft, smooth running for any custom-fit in ear product to be produced. How to take a perfect ear impression model?

2. Otoscope examination

Before making an impression, the patient's ear must be thoroughly examined and determined to be acceptable for the process. The exam not only allows you an overall view of the health of the ear, but also can also reveal concerns or contraindications to impression making.

3. Impression foam

This step is the most import part of our impression. Using the ear light to fill the impression foam in the ear canal. Choose the right size of impression foam to fit your patients' ear canal size.

4. Mixing impression material 1:1

Ear impression material can be mixed either by "spatula and slab" or by hand.

Mix the materials as quickly as possible until the material is a uniform color then load the syringe and make the impression. It is very important not to deviate from the manufacturer's instructions.

5. Inject ear impression material into the ear canal.

Using Soundlink simple impression syringe types to inject slowly with stable pressure.

6. Removing the impression

After around 5 mins for ABR ear impression material, it will be solid. Gently pull the patient's pinna up and back to break the seal. Remove the impression model from the antihelix area and gently rotate forward and out. The impression foam and string should be removed too.

7. Check the patient's ear canal to make sure no impression material and impression foam inside.
